A message from our President, Ms. Yiolanda Vlachou:
“In the midst of these unprecedented events and after the Preventive Medicine Campaign in Thrace, Open Arms Hug had the chance to visit Samos. A team of volunteer doctors and nurses offered their services to the children at the Reception and Identification Center. The suspension of all events, as was indicated by the Ministry of Health, does not allow us to continue with our scheduled campaigns for the moment. WE STAY AT HOME. Our thoughts are close to our fellow citizens that live in the Greek border towns and islands.
We have already sent contact information of doctors and health professionals to every destination that was in our schedule, so those on the Greek borders can reach them in case of emergency. WE STAY AT HOME now, so we can meet again later on and have a wide Open Arms Hug.”
